Obituary of Darryl Stacey
STACEY - Darryl J.
Passed suddenly on January 10, 2018 with his beloved wife at his side. He was born at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital on April 11, 1951, to the late John and late Nesta (Jones) Stacey and raised in West Falls, NY with his younger brothers Owen (Julie) and Brian (Denise). He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1969. He developed his passion for Italian automobiles while employed at Kelver Fiat. He was employed at Delia Cadillac/Chrysler and recently retired from Catholic Health Logistics Department. He is the former owner of Print Stop, a full service union offset and screen printing company with offices in Buffalo and Orchard Park. He was the Office/Strategic Manager for Stacey Psychiatric Practice with offices in Orchard Park and Williamsville, and Lafayette Family Practice in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Darryl married Debra Madison (EAHS Class of 1977) in 1986. The couple have three children, Justin of Austin, TX; Collin of Savannah, GA; and Lauren of Orchard Park, NY. Darryl was a devoted husband and father, and automobile enthusiast at heart. He co-founded Euro Car Day held annually in Williamsville NY, actively participated with the Alfa Club, was a longtime member of Fiat Club America (formerly Fiat Lancia Unlimited) and was the WNY Chapter Contact for almost 25 years. He is survived by his wife, sons, daughter, brothers, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, a multitude of cherished friends, and an over abundant collection of Italian automobiles along with parts and automobilia. He maintained he was too young for grandchildren. Spare Fiats, Fiat parts or Fiat automobilia can be sent to 3843 Union Road #15-127 Buffalo, NY. Donations in lieu of flowers gratefully accepted in his memory at the ECSPCA cat department since he is no longer able to personally ensure his wife does not bring any more cats home. At his request a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements made by: ERIE COUNTY CREMATION SERVICE, (716) 824-6435, 873 Abbott Rd., Buffalo, NY 14220.
