Condolence: Brian was a very good friend of my dad's and the whole family. I will never forget the time when he advocated for my education because of my learning disability, he was a very important man but he was also a valuable friend. I'll always remember the times when he and his family came to our house, when he used to invite us all to his house and the great meals he would make for supper. He was one true family friend who I will never forget, and could never be replaced. R.I.P. Brian

Condolence: It was my pleasure to know and to share at times a part of this crazy elevator world with Brian. He was a quality friend who always carved out time to chat with me and to make me feel special while doing so. No matter how busy Brian was, he always found the time to express his friendship. Deepest sympathy to Ann, his children and grandchildren. May he live in all your hearts forever. Brian was a person of an uncommon quality and will be missed! God Bless!

Condolence: I was so remarkably sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. For several years I have worked with him on the ANSI A117.1 Committee and enjoyed his expertise and general knowledge regarding all things code-related. Brian had a presence and sense of humor that cannot be replicated. It goes without saying that we will sadly miss his contributions to the committee. We looked forward to Brian’s presence at the meetings and know that he will be sorely missed. My condolences to Ann and the remainder of Brian’s family.

Condolence: I knew Brian through our service together on the ANSI A117.1 Committee on disabled access. When he first left the organization that sponsored his delegacy and applied as an individual expert, I was proud to be the first to speak in his support, because I knew we would have lost so much without his participation.
Brian was always there, always alert, intelligent, a participant. His work on residence standards was, I thought, brilliant.
I valued him so much as a professional, but I know that to his family and close friends, his loss must be immeasurable. My condolences to them.
Rest well, Brian
