WEBER - Robert "Bobby" "Rob"
Family and more than a friend to many - graciously left us on October 23, 2022, at the age of 59. Robert (b. April 19, 1963) grew up in Depew, NY, before settling in New York City where he started his event production company, Music-Is-Life. His passion for sound and lighting, and how it brought people together, led to a career of successful productions including high-profile events at legendary clubs and venues in NYC, Europe and Asia. His talent and dedication for his work attracted many renowned companies and individuals. Robert loved adventure and traveled extensively. Whether it was missed flights, trips to foreign hospitals, or encountering dangerous animals, there was never a dull moment when traveling with him. In 2011, an opportunity led Robert to live and work in the Fire Island Pines community, which he adopted as his beloved home. He managed properties, built homes, captained boats, and protected properties from fires and storms. He loved being around nature, flying drones, and spending evenings with friends. Everyone knew Robert; he truly was the hero of the Pines. Bobby had a magnetic personality belying his quiet and unassuming facade. All acquaintances and friends quickly became family. Bobby would help anyone no matter what was occuring in his own life. Bobby returned to Buffalo, NY, in May 2021 spending the remainder of his days surrounded by loving family and friends.
