Obituary of Charles Van Curen

VAN CUREN - Charles M.

Age 86, of Springville, NY. Loving father of Isabell M. (Timothy) Kowsky, Rocky C. (Lori) Van Curen, Mark A. Van Curen and Shirley E. Padilla; also survived by seven grandsons, nine granddaughters and 12 great-grandchildren; son of the late Charles F. Sr. and Abigail (Robinson) Van Curen. No prior visitation. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Van Curen was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, served in the National Guard and was a Golden Glove Boxing Champion. He was called by many "Papa Smurf" and his greatest passion was fishing and will be missed by many friends and family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
